A: Yes, the beam is narrower than a stock one, so both torsion bars and track rods will need narrowing by you. The torsion bars will need re dimpling, we recommend using a carbide drill to do this. Q: How low will it go? A: Low enough! The adjusters are fitted in the optimum position. Q: Does it have roller bearings for the trailing arms? A: No, it uses Acetal aka Delrin bushes. Black outer ones are for 55-63 trailing arms, White ones are for 64-67 or VW Brazil trailing arms. If you want roller bearings instead buy one of the ultimate beams we make. Q: My 64-67 or VW Brazil trailing arms do not fit. A: The original bearing race needs removing from the trailing arm before fitting into the beam Q: On my 4” narrowed beam has problems fitting a shock. A: Your lower trailing arm will need the shock stud moving 25mm inward. This is a standard thing on 4” narrowed beams. We can offer narrowed trailing arms. Q: The bushes are too tight for my trailing arms. A: The bushes are adjustable. Loosen the 13mm lock nut and slacken the set screw holding the bush. Q: Where is the idler pin grease nipple? A: It’s in the box with the idler pin, fit the grease nipple after fitting the idler pin. Q: Is the idler pin a standard one? A: No, it has been shortened to give more clearance.
